![]() ![]() The weird thing is that sometimes - for no known reason - AutoCAD will consider lines as coplanar - drawn exactly as all the other lines, and I can work with them: chamfer them, hatch time, snap to them at the intersection, etc. They are the same color, the same level, the same everything, but AutoCAD insists that both lines are not coplanar. I cannot understand this, because both lines were drawn with the same settings, so that you'd think they'd have the same attributes, at least. The X- and Y-axes may be on the same plane, but for some reason, it is not on the same plane in the Z-plane. I am thinking that what AutoCAD is stating that my lines are not on the same plane. I draw some lines in my drawing, and when I try to work with them (say chamfer two lines, hatch them, snap to them at the intersection, etc.) AutoCAD refuses to do it, stating, "LINES ARE NOT COPLANAR." Normally, I understand English perfectly, but "coplanar" has got me stumped.
